A Bit About Us

Founded in 2006 and receiving our 501c3 designation in 2014, Gifted Ones has supported dozens of passion projects over the years. After weathering the pandemic Gifted Ones has received a make-over and is gaining support like never before.

With our newly appointed Board of Directors, the recent grant award from Advent Health and acceptance into the Empowering Good Nonprofit Accelerator at Rollins College, we are gaining momentum and plan to keep it up!

Diazina Mobley – Founder + Executive Director

(dai-zee-nah moh-blee) she/her

Diazina has been a mental health professional for over 29 years. As an entrepreneur, therapist, coach, mentor and non-profit leader, Diazina has worked with individuals, couples and families across the lifespan and life transitions. She believes that every person has within them a spark of greatness – a gift to be shared with the world. Gifted Ones was founded to give life and voice to that expression in service to a world that loves fully, powerfully and intentionally.When Diazina isnt “collecting hearts”, she enjoys sharing belly laughs with her peeps and taking long naps in hammocks around the world and in her backyard.

Sunni VonMutius – Board Chair

(suh-nee von-mew-tee-us) she/her

Sunni is an Orlando native with over 25 years of business experience ranging from Fortune 50 Companies to small businesses and nonprofits. A certified PMP and Agile Professional she has managed multimillion dollar projects. In addition to acting as the current Chair of our Board she is CEO of Wildflower Strategy and is pursuing ordination while acting as a Spiritual Mentor. Sunni loves humans, travel, punny jokes, reading and dancing.

Angella McKay – Board Treasurer

(an-jel-ah mc-kay) she/her

Angella is a licensed financial services professional with over three decades of experience in the nonprofit sector. She holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Telecommunications Management from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master’s Certificate in Information Assurance. In addition to being an avid reader, she is a geek and loves technology, science fiction, and Marvel Comics.

Amanda Mull – Member at Large

(uh-man-duh muh-l) she/her

A UCF Alum, Amanda holds a degree in Behavioral and Biological Sciences. With nearly 20 years experience in hospitality, she has spent the past decade honing her eye for efficiency and creative problem solving skills as a flight attendant. Beyond her professional credentials, her interests in live music, reading, and exploration contribute to a well-rounded perspective, fostering creativity and a willingness to embrace diverse viewpoints. She brings a fresh perspective and hunger to learn her role on the Board.

Colette McLeod – Member at Large

(ko-let mc-lowd) she/her

Colette has been a mental health professional for over 10 years; she is a Licensed Therapist, Qualified Supervisor, Certified Case Manager, and Facilitation expert. With compassion, and no-nonsense wisdom, she has a passion for supporting others in BEING good in the world. She brings to our Board her organizational skills (including concepts & ideas), willingness to learn, and an ability to “zoom out” in order to keep the big picture in mind. In her free time Colette enjoys powerlifting and gets absolutely giddy at any wildlife encounter.

Cheyenne Morman – Member at Large

With seven years of experience in education, Cheyenne has served in various roles across K-12 and higher education. She is currently a college professor of English as well as a career advisor at Rollins College, specializing in experiential learning and networking. She brings to her role a passion for supporting the well-being and future success of leaders to realize their positive impact on our world. In her spare time Cheyenne enjoys yoga, meditation, writing, and live music.

Courtni Tansey – Member at Large

(kort-ni tan-see) she/her

Courtni has 10 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, most recently acting as a Project Leader for Hands on Orlando and in Operations with Feeding Children Everywhere. Courtni has developed strengths in relationship and volunteer management as well as conflict resolution. She is a leader in her community, hosting events to support the prioritization of mental health and wellness.She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her dog and hosting theme-based gatherings.

Our fundraising goal this summer is $27,000.
